Overview

Specialty Diving of Louisiana and its sister company, Specialty Offshore, offer underwater marine services to the private and public sectors in conjunction with extensive dive support vessels and equipment. For over two decades Specialty Diving has worked to partner with its clients, assess their individual needs, develop a safety-conscious job plan and ultimately produce superior results in underwater inspections, maintenance, repairs, fabrication, and construction projects.

Although both companies share the same home office in Loranger, Louisiana, collectively they provide a broad range of commercial services to inland and offshore waters. What differentiates these two divisions is that Specialty Diving works near lakes dams, rivers and ponds servicing such companies as power and utility plants, while Specialty Offshore works in the oil and gas related field for companies like Conoco/Phillips and British Petroleum in the Gulf of Mexico and international waters. What they share in common, however, is a professional responsiveness to all your marine needs and underwater services including wet welding, burning and video, installation of pipelines and substructures, maintenance and fabrication as well as turnkey operations involving underwater pumping, drilling and unique salvage and repair jobs.

Regardless of the task or the complexity of the situation, Specialty Diving has the experience to provide creative solutions that are custom-tailored to specific client situations. Almost from its inception, Specialty Diving has demonstrated an instinctive talent for addressing complex problems and then correcting those problems through it own creative methods. These inherent abilities were first evidenced with its underwater bridge inspections and then internal pipeline penetrations and repairs. Today it is singularly recognized for its Special Vessel Underwater Examination (SVUE) and R.O.V. technology.

As a full-service diving and marine engineering contractor, Specialty Diving continues to grow and expand its management, administration, and vessel operations to provide the most expert services for both small and larger marine diving support missions.
